Renowned Professor of Medicine and former Health Adviser, Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, has officially declared his gubernatorial ambition under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State. Following his tenure as Special Adviser on Health in the state, Prof. Faduyile met with the Ondo APC Executive Committee to unveil his political aspiration.
Leading a contingent of supporters to the State Party Secretariat, Prof. Faduyile was warmly received by the State Party Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin. Expressing gratitude for the camaraderie extended to him, Prof. Faduyile commended Engr. Adetimehin for his leadership of the APC in Ondo State, emphasizing the party’s readiness for electoral success.
Highlighting his over three decades of experience in medicine and administration, Prof. Faduyile asserted his readiness to lead the APC to victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
He pledged to navigate the diverse sentiments within the party while leveraging the existing party structure for effective governance in Ondo State.
In response, State Chairman Engr. Adetimehin lauded Prof. Faduyile’s courage in joining the gubernatorial race and assured him of a level playing field for all aspirants.
He commended Faduyile’s strategic approach to engaging with the party, wishing him success in his political journey on behalf of the Ondo APC.
