Governor Oyebanji Fulfills Campaign Promise, Electrifies Aba Ya-medi Community in Ado Ekiti
Governor Oyebanji’s commitment to integrity continues to redefine governance as he consistently fulfills his campaign promises, earning him the public alias, ‘Talk and Do BAO’. During the 2022 gubernatorial campaigns in Ekiti, the wife of the APC candidate now the First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Olayemi Oyebanji took her husband’s campaign to Aba Iya-Medi, a well-populated area in Ado Ekiti that has more than 10 communities and several zones. The communities unanimously demanded for a transformer to put an end to the years of darkness they have witnessed. Knowing her husband as a man with high integrity, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji made a promise on his behalf. Yesterday, that campaign promise was fulfilled. Instead of one transformer, they were given two, considering their very large population. Installation of poles has been done as well as connection of cables and according to the PS Ekiti State Electricity Board, Engnr. Atere, the transformers will be energized this month. The community members could not hide their joy as they extended gratitude to the Governor and gifted the First Lady a ram.
