EKITI-BORN US ARMY VETERAN DONATES CASH GIFT TO OFFICE OF COMMUNITY COMMUNICATIONS IN SUPPORT OF BUREAU’S ACTIVITIES

October 15, 2024 admin@@@ No Comments Community

Moved by the incredible impact of community engagements activities of the Bureau of Community Communications across the nooks and crannies of Ekiti State, an appreciative Ekiti-born US army veteran, Mr Kayode Omoboya has displayed a rare show of generosity by donating cash gift to the Office of Community Communications as his contribution towards enhancing community engagement activities of the Bureau.

Mr. Omoboya, who said he was inspired by the office’s commitment to fostering community involvement and development, expressed his desire to give back to his home state to boost Community Engagement Efforts of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

Mr Omoboya’s donation reflects a deep-rooted belief in the Governor Oyebanji’s grassroots development drive, community collaboration as well as the importance of engaging citizens in meaningful initiatives.

The Office of Community Communications has been actively promoting various programs to strengthen community ties and empower the people, especially those at the grassroots. With this new funding, the office aims to expand its outreach efforts, facilitating more programs geared towards effective and productive community engagement.

The Director General of the Office of Community Communications, Mrs Mary Oso-Omotosho, who commended Mr. Omoboya’s generous and deep love for Governor Oyebanji’s leadership style said that the gesture serves as a reminder of the vital role that well-meaning individuals play in fostering progress and unity within their communities.

Mrs Omotosho said the Office of Community Communications would make judicious use of the donation for community engagement activities.
